Live Caller Casino review of the year 2009

2009 saw a stablising of the market with all the major betting companies launching products in some way on their sites. Most of them that came along this year were dissappointing in as much as they appear to have just bolted on the Live Dealer Casino onto their site, did a little announcement and then left them. This shows a clear lack of understanding of the Live Caller Casino player, and what we want from our gambling.

A couple of big names launched their versions of webcam casinos, with Party Gaming and 888 doing good jobs of bringing their new casinos to their players. Neither of them broke any bounderies, but they did do a decent job at producing a clean, professional looking product (see the Party Gaming Live Dealer Casino review here).

New casino surprise of the year: Party Casino

A lot was expected from Party Gaming’s Evolution Gaming Live Casino, and whilst they did not dazzle, they did show the world how to put together a solid, slick, enjoyable playing experience for the players. What was surprising, was the launch of 2 versions of the casino at the same time. Giving the players the choice of an – allegedly - Asian Live Caller Casino and a European version was a real innovation. Its just a shame that there was little or no actual difference between the two!

Disappointment of the year: Live Gaming Technology (LGT)

LGT launched with a fanfare in 2009 with the promise of next generation technology and the ability to push the boundaries of Live Casino by offering a new solution for both online and TV casino games. LGT launched, under the prodigious Isle of Man gaming license, its own Live Dealer Casino: casinotv. We expecting a great site, with wonderful playing options. Sadly, the operation has had some difficulties and is no longer accepting new players. The design of the site left a lot to be desired, but we hope casinotv will get back on its feet again sometime in 2010.

Fastest growing Live Caller Casino software provider: Vuetec

If 2008 was the year of Evolution Gaming, 2009 was the year of Vuetec. In 2009 we saw Vuetec develop its product rapidly and launched a number of wonderful brands like Lucky Live. Brands running Vuetec software tend to be specialists: focussed entirely on offering the best possible Live Casino experience for their players. Without being distracted by other gambling products, Vuetec’s brands offer some of the best promo’s, games and Customer Service online today.

Best Live Dealer Casino 2009: Smartlivecasino

Smartlivecasino has moved forwards in 2009 to overcome their competitors but making everything better. The software has more games, the dealers are better trained, the video is better quality, the promotions are the best in the industry and Smartlivecasino thoroughly deserves its WLD rating of Platinum. Operating under a UK gaming license, we the players can relax knowing that there is the best game fairness and player protection available anywhere – even when compared to the big names of online gambling who tend to operate in less well regulated juristictions like Gibraltar. Smartlivecasino uses its own software and that means it has been able to focus on the needs of the players and just keep innovating and improving quality. This is something other software companies have failed to do in 2009. Well done Smartlivecasino – you’re the best!
